Last Saturday February the 19th, ma and my family I went to Finlandia Hall to enjoy a Bryn Terfel's gig, one of the best bass baritone opera singer!! with the symphonic orchestra of Finland.
The experience was the greatest ever! Both the building and the concerts were incredible. Also the fact of going with my family made it even more special (if possible) and there are no words to describe the feelings we embodied with this experience.
So here I leave you some pictures of this great occasion, and warmly recommend you to visit this place. It might be expensive, but it is definitely worth!
Building's layout
Finlandia Hall shows two elevations, different in scale and character, one towards the bay and the other toward Hesperia Park and the so called street Mannerheimintie. With Carrara marble's cladding, the sculpturally winding building dominates Hesperia Park, its principle access. Another entrance is on a lower level on the Töölö Bay side, with a lovely view of the buliding.

Floor plan
Finlandia Hall is the culmination of the large public buildings Alvar Aalto designed and the only element in his plan for Helsinki's Centre (1961-72) to have seen completion.
